"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Easter

When Easter was over this year, I kept thinking about how this was one of the best ones I can remember. Maybe it was because we celebrated new life with Clarky. Maybe it was because we had a really fun day with family. Maybe it was because Mom's cooking was delicious. I don't know. Anyway, here's a recap:
While I was in Round Top, my sweet friend Lauren, took AnnMarie (along with her THREE other kids) to an Easter egg hunt (and party) at the Purdys'. Kacey sent me this adorable picture. Isn't it cute?
She had a wonderful time, and I cannot say THANK YOU enough to all of my buddies (and you know who you are) who helped Lauren keep an eye on her. I appreciated it SO much!! ;)
Before we left for church, we stopped to snap some pictures of our little darlings. And I'm so glad we did because after church it was dreary and raining!

Cousin time! Really, it's impossible to get a good one of all three.
After church, we headed over to Mom and Dad's for lunch. Of course, we had to dye some eggs!
By the time we finished eating, the sun had come back out so we decided to try for some bluebonnet pics. Mom and Dad's neighborhood has some great patches!

Aw...look at those baby hands
My golden haired angel.

What a wonderful day. Thank you Lord, for giving your life for us so that we can live ours abundantly. He is risen indeed!

Beautiful, Beautiful Babies! I loved getting to spend some time with AM. She is a DOLL and a half. My mom was there for part of the time and commented on how precious she was. Their Easter clothes were precious and you look beautiful as well! One hot mommy!
