Four Boys, Football, and THE Ferris Wheel



A couple weekends ago we had a fun filled weekend in Dallas!  I headed up early Saturday morning with Angie so we could help shower her sister, and of course my bestie, Caryn, because she's having twins!  The twins will bring her offspring total up to a whopping four--and all of them boys!  Didn't she pick the cutest names?

After the shower Angie, Kacey, Nancy, and I raced to the Cotton Bowl via DART.  Thanks to Angie's smooth talkin skills, I was able to get into the fair without my ticket.  (Forgot to get it from Mom before I headed north.  Oops!)




Guns up!  We were able to score two of these cute foam football helmets for the boys.  Speaking of Bubba--he stayed behind with our good friends, the Polnicks.  That will get its own post!




It was a beautiful day!



After the game, Sean headed back to Waco to get Clark while my parents and I along with Luke and Caroline took AnnMarie to the state fair for the first time.  I really wanted to take her on the ferris wheel if she wasn't scared!  Luckily, the looooong line moved pretty fast.





Not scared at all!  I was expecting at least a whimper! :)

And then all of a sudden here comes the military marching band through the fair.  I love that sound!




Best snack of the day:  pineapple ice cream!  aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh it was SO good

AM does too!  As soon as we started up the first hill, she put her hands up! 




Not too sure about the airplane ride.  I have to say that I was so impressed with how she just pointed out the ride she wanted to do and got in line all by herself and rode with strangers! :)  Poor thing didn't have any cousins or friends there to ride with!  Would have never done that when I was a kid...





The Newlyweds!  Loved getting to visit with them---even if it was walking miles back and forth across the fairgrounds!
What an exciting and jam packed weekend.  The State Farm shootout between the Red Raiders and Bears has become a Jurgensen family tradition.  So far---TT-2, BU-0. 
Can't wait till next year!



15 months

Our little son is now FIFTEEN months.  The time just keeps flying by!  Every time I look up, it's time to post again. Yes, the days are LOOONNNNGG, but the years are s.h.o.r.t.  :( 
We gave him this box of Uncle Lukey's old Duplo blocks to play with, but (something AM had never done) he threw everything out and sat in it.  :)  boys.



He found a hiding place under the sink in Fort Davis.  And this one looks JUST like my baby pictures.  I really need to get those out!



Cousin Brooksy got to stay with us one day!  They are the cutest things you've EVER seen when they're together.



It's becoming more and MORE common for me to catch little brother in random places getting in trouble, and this is a perfect picture of him right now---hair a mess, snotty/drolly/dirty face, running wIlD. :) 

Because the baby book is collecting dust, I will document here:
weighs 28 lbs, 32 1/2" tall
got shots and did not even cry or flinch!  wow.  mommy and the nurse were stunned

has dropped the morning nap---it's pretty hard without it some days though!

remains to be the cutest, squishiest toddler around.  mommy gets as many snuggles in as i can.  he is not allowed to grow up!



14 months

Well, since Bubba officially turned FIFTEEN! months today, I thought I should probably post about him turning 14 months.  :)  Lately I find myself catching a glimpse of Clark and thinking, "He absolutely positively looks oLdEr than he did yesterday!".  I can't stand it.  Now I know what everybody means when they say---The days are long, but the years are short.  Time is f..l..y..i..n..g...

He wants sooooooo badly to play soccer for "The Jaguars".  (aka big sister's team)
The months are absolutely moving at light speed.  Everytime I look up it's the start of new one.  boo hoo!  My little man is growing up!  I am loving this age though.  So sweet---words are coming out, love of mAmA is coming out (secretly--well not now---love it!), wiiiiiiiiiilllllddddddddness is coming out (uhoh), and I'm eating it up.  (and never getting a second's break with this one!)
