"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Clark turns 4!

4 sounds so big. :(  He's not a baby anymore.  I guess I have to come to terms with that! :)
He wasted no time opening his gifts from Gamma and Pepaw.

Hunting/camping set from Bass Pro.  Score!

In character

Sweet moment with Grandmommy

And then it was time for Batman

Serious business

Clark requested (after Mommy gave him three choices all NOT at our house) Jump-in-Place.    Easy!  Great choice!

I promise Mary Claire was not hurt in this pic!

Cutest niece in the world!

The buddies at the party were so cute in all of their Batman gear!

No time for pictures, Mom!  Gotta run!

Clark and Tyler

I caught these two in the party room checking out the food and decor.  Four year old conversations are so cute!

So fun to see Aunt Allison!

Chasing McKenzie---this poor girl was never safe!

Some of Bubba's too cute coloring

Batman wallets and candy for our friends

Turning 4

Happy Birthday to you!

FOUR!  (and seven) :)

I was profusely sweating as the kids kept creeping SO CLOSE to the HOT window as he was opening presents!

Our sweet boy.  Can't believe he's four years old!  Can't imagine our lives without you, Bubba.  You bring fun, humor, energy, and much much love and affection into our world.  We love you!!
