"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

-Sally Clarkson from the Mission of Motherhood

day 5--REST day

On Sunday J&J and L&C had to head back to TX.  But---before they left we got to have breakfast at the Grand Floridian with mArY pOpPiNs!
It might have been my favorite meal!

Autograph, please!

Oops, got a little out of order...

The awe

The guest of honor!

And after breakfast we just took our time and mosied around the hotel because it was so beautiful!
Me and my big girl.  My big girl who's leaving me for Kindergarten next year.  Gah, I'm sorry I keep bringing it up!

Luckily they had sofas and TVs just Clark's size so as to keep him entertained while we hit the gift shop.

We road a boat back to our hotel.  Coooold but fun!
Clark's teeth were hurting, and he was not having the photo shoot.

Bug a boo Buddy

Posin

AnnMarie was BEGGGGGGGGGGGING  to swim so of course we did.  We were so thankful to have a day just to rest and play at the hotel.  Great idea with little ones!  The pool was "heated", but not enough for Mama.  :)

Playin in the sand

The hammock was fun.  Until Clark was done with it.

Where did sister go?

And this was the last picture I took that day.  I gave the camera a rest too!
We did have a yummy dinner at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian hotel.  Although, this was where Clarky had his second major meltdown.  :)
Soooooooo, we were ready for bed after watching the nightly fireworks from our balcony!  So fun!

Super-cali-fragilistic!

Love me some Mary Poppins! And love me some teeth, except when they are just emerging in a little one's mouth. Ow!

Good to have a rest day (but people, heat up that pool!)...
