"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

day 4---Animal Kingdom

The weather got better and better as our week went on, and so Saturday we had a bright and sunny day for us to enjoy at Animal Kingdom!
Clark was teething (boo) and allergy ridden for the first 3/4 of the trip so after a couple days of soaking through shirts and bibs because of drool and mucho crankiness, I decided to have him hit the bottle----the MEDicine bottle.  After a dose of allergy medicine and motrin, he was already asleep on the bus ride to the park!  (8:30 a.m.)
Poor little angel...

...so he required a lot of TLC from Mama.

In front of (fake) Mt. Everest!
The first thing we did was take the safari.  So pretty!  I'll spare you lots of animal pictures and just show Clark's favorite----the "raff".

After the safari we spotted a gorilla across the way.

And we couldn't leave AK without meeting Pocahontas!

AnnMarie clearly defining her personal space with Jiminy Cricket.
When Clark fell asleep for his nap in the stroller, Sean, Luke, Caroline and I headed over to "Expedition Everest".  It just may have been my favorite roller coaster at WDW!  I loved it!
Sean posing with some of his hometown animals while waiting in line. :)

Line and I in front of EE.
AnnMarie waiting to see Mickey's Jammin Jungle parade.  It was so cute!  But again---you'll just have to go and see it for yourself!  (I didn't have a good enough spot to get good shots.)

AK closed at 5:00 so we headed over to Epcot for our dinner.  We ate in "Mexico" (a Jurgensen family favorite), but it was SO dArK in there that none of my pics turned out good.

We had a great last "park" day with L&C and J&J. Obviously, I did not take a picture of every single ride we rode because my hands always seemed to be full with a certain toddler, BUT we had so much fun and filled every minute!
