"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Our first glimpse of you...

So, I've had this picture for awhile, but my scanner was giving me issues, and I'm just now getting it posted! Anyway, here is Baby Svoboda #2! I was 9 weeks along when this was taken.
This little peanut is VERY active! I have been feeling him/her kick for 3 weeks now, and I love it! It is one of my favorite parts of pregnancy. I can't get enough of it. The thing is I don't remember feeling AM kick until more like 20 weeks. And I must say that I'm a little nervous because I thought AnnMarie was active..............hmmmmm What is ahead for us???? :) Oh well, I think the Lord knows I need constant excitement, and Sean might need a little payback from what I've heard about his childhood. hehe
We can't wait to get another picture in 2 1/2 weeks!!!!

i've been thinking about our conversation today at MDO and i wanted to tell you, i think you look beautiful pregnant. maybe today was just a hormonal day and tomorrow will be brighter! soon it will be warmer weather and we can wear our skirts and tops and feel oh, so cute! i'm glad i'm growing big with you!!!
