"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Visit from the Rackers

At the end of June, our dear friends, the Rackers (Holly, the kids, and Nana) came to see us in Waco.  We were so excited because we miss our buddies!!
Of course as soon as these two saw each other, the dressing up and performing began.

And the princesses quickly turned into rockstars.

Miss Holly got to snuggle with little Mary.

And Nana

Clark and Carson were fast friends.  This added to my sadness about us living apart because it was so great seeing them instantly "click"!

Our last two babies.  Yet another similarity!  From teaching, engagements, weddings, baby girls, baby boys, #3, and then..it's a GiRL!

Gah this picture gets me!  Wasn't it just yesterday that those big girls were just infants?

We had some swim time at Gigi's.  It was so nice to let the big kids play while the mommies talked.

The big sisters and their little dolls

I canNOT believe how big these girls are getting and how far we've come.  May they always be best friends no matter the miles between them!

Two sweet brothers surrounded by PiNk

It was such a wonderful visit.  Quick, but I'll take it since we just do not see each other enough!  Thank goodness for blogs and texting.  :)
Thank you for coming all the way to good ol Waco to see us.
Looking forward to our future family trips!  Built-in playmates!
