"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

-Sally Clarkson from the Mission of Motherhood

Princess Manners

Recently I bought AnnMarie a Disney princess tea party cd full of syrupy sweet songs about minding your manners, having tea, meeting your prince, dressing up, etc. (aka: songs that get annoyingly stuck in your head for hours on end) Why did I buy it again?????

Anyway, as we were driving along the other day listening to it quietly, AnnMarie piped up and said, "Mommy, how do you let your pinky extend?".
