"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Celebrating Mary Claire

Today some very special friends came together to celebrate little Mary Claire's arrival... (can't believe I'm 34 weeks already!) wOw.

How pretty is this table?  I am kicking myself for not getting a picture with all of these sweet friends, but Angie, Caryn, Erica, Heather, Kacey, and Lauren, you are the most thoughtful friends!!  We get together every Wednesday for a little playgroup, and of course they did not need to do this, but they DID!!!

Check out these cuties :)

It was so fun to see her name in print!

Swallowing my pride a little here in my puffy state :), but I did manage to get a shot with Kace!
So fun experiencing all things pInK again!

My little helper was there. :)

When I got home, I couldn't help myself---I had to spread it all out and enjoy!

It's been so long since we've had teeny tiny girly frocks around here!

I feel so blessed by you sweet girls.  Thank you for making this time SO special for us!  Can't WAIT to dress our new baby doll! :)

Such sweet sweet friends! Of course all that they did was adorable. Those pink things are precious! The count down is on girl! I can't wait! I feel totally out of the loop just now hearing about your sweet Granny. I'm so sorry. What a sweet post to her. Such precious memories from your Auburn days with her. Love you sister! Wish I was coming to Waco with the girls!
