"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Baylor Homecoming

Baylor Homecoming is always a fun weekend here in town because it always brings in old friends from out of town and provides lots of fun activities for the kids (and for us too).
We always head out to the parade bright and early.  This year it was rainy so we weren't sure how much of the parade we'd get to enjoy.
Sooooooo, I thought--let's immediately try for a sibling photo.
Nope.  One was not having it.
Try #2.  Daddy, how bout you try holding him?
Nope.  AM's smile hasn't changed.  Clark's stance hasn't either.
And, three strikes, we're out.
Clark won, and presumed to go about his business exploring the crowd and checking out this dog.
Hmm..Finally a way to reign him in.
We met up with Clark's buddy, Griffin.  Isn't this too cute?  Could be foreshadowing of real jerseys one day?  :)

And that was the last pic I took of the day!
The fun didn't stop there though.  After the parade we headed to a fun party over at the Horners' house.  I think Sean and I's hands were too full to take pictures!
Griffy's aunt Julie (so wonderfully!) offered to babysit Bubba so we could take AM to the game that afternoon.  After a lightning delay, we decided to head home since we didn't have ponchos, and we I REALLY wanted to watch the Auburn/LSU game.  And---I'm so glad we did because our babysitting bill would have been sky high and the game didn't end up ending up starting until 2 hours later.

On that note, can I just give a shout out to my tigers???  At the top of the charts in NCAA football.  WAR EAGLE
