"The fundamental mission of motherhood now is the same as it always was: to nurture, protect, and instruct children, to create a home environment that enables them to learn and grow, to help them develop a heart for God and his purposes, and to send them out into the world prepared to live both fully and meaningfully."

Four Boys, Football, and THE Ferris Wheel
Friends since 7th grade!
The radiantally beautiful mama!
Guns up! We were able to score two of these cute foam football helmets for the boys. Speaking of Bubba--he stayed behind with our good friends, the Polnicks. That will get its own post!
It was a beautiful day!
Not scared at all! I was expecting at least a whimper! :)
It's so high!
The view from the top
I loved Big Tex's boots!
Made a beeline for the mermaid ride. Big hit!
And then all of a sudden here comes the military marching band through the fair. I love that sound!
Best snack of the day: pineapple ice cream! aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh it was SO good
...Still love rOlLeR cOaStErS...
AM does too! As soon as we started up the first hill, she put her hands up!

Fort Davis
We recently took a trip to Fort Davis, TX with the Fords/Svobodas to celebrate Grandmommy and Granddaddy's 60th wedding anniversary. Wow! What an amazing event to celebrate!
My two precious angels. I love this one!
Ok, Blogger's new format is not being nice to me so I apologize for these out of order photos!
The cows were a little scared of us...
We had fun enjoying the nice weather and watching them.
Having trouble with these...
